The movie has the police working for the big companies. They break up union meetings and even shoot "agitators". The police frequently go into migrant camps to enforce company rules and punishments on innocent migrants. An example of this is when the police are sent in to arrest migrants at a government camp dance. Thugs are sent in to start a fight and the police weight for people to arrest.
