What Does Ma ask of the men?chapter 26

1) Ma wants the family to stay together and plans for the family to go north where it's almost time for the cotton to be harvested.

2) Pa remarks that women seem to be in control, and it may be time to get out a stick.

3) Ma tells him that she is doing her job as wife, but he certainly isn't doing his job as husband.

4) Ma wants him to take control of his family again and feels that provoking him into an argument might just serve her purpose.
