Blocks from Biloxi, Tennessee fainted at Daisy and Tom's wedding. During Chapter Seven, when everyone has gone to New York for the day, Gatsby is doing his best to gain Daisy's attention and place a wedge between her and Tom. Ironically, at this point she begins to talk about her wedding day. I've always believed she was sending a signal.
