"I may be old fashioned in my ideas but women run around too much these days to suit me" whats interesting about this line?
"I may be old fasioned in my ideas but women run around too much these days to suit me" chapter 6
"I may be old fasioned in my ideas but women run around too much these days to suit me" chapter 6
The most interesting thing about this line is its irony. Tom has been running around since we first met him, cheating on his wife...... with a married woman. His own indiscretions, and Myrtle's marital status, don't even come into play.
