As nick approaches his house at the beginning of the chapter, what does he notice about gatsbys house? (Hint: it's at night) why is gatsby "glancing into some of the rooms"?
Nick thinks it looks like some type of gothic monstrosity silhouetted in the night. I think that Gatsby has any number of people living there, which he does not know or has forgotten about.
