What they discuss is never revealed but Jordan says that it was "the most amazing thing." Really it is hard to say. Knowing that Gatsby is obsessed with Daisy, I might be inclined to think the talk involved an elaborate plan to set himself up, somehow, with Daisy. Perhaps Jordan and Nick presented Gatsby with a way into Daisy's life.
