What does Jordan mean by "I like large parties. They're so intimate. At small parties there isn't any privacy" (page 49)

At small parties, there is no privacy because everyone is aware of everyone else.... people are listening and watching. Large parties are interesting because no one is paying any attention. You can sit back as an observer and the crowd would never notice. People feel less conspicuous, and thus, act freely..... more naturally.
