What was Daisy's state of mind during the confrontation between Gatsby and Tom?

Daisy is extremely careless and selfish. Her state of mind in Chapter Seven supports this. She enjoys Gatsby, and she enjoys making Tom uncomfortable. Daisy flouts convention and pretty much throws the affair in her husband's face.... at least until he exposes Gatsby for what he believes he is. Daisy doesn't like the humiliation.... the afternoon isn't any fun once Tom appeals to her inner snob. He knows that she'll never leave him for a bootlegger, and that she'll never leave their daughter. Thus, we see Daisy in a panic.... in a moment of realization that will essentially change everything. And Gatsby.... he doesn't know what hit him.
