What is the relationship between Rosie and Raju?

Rosie and Raju begin as friends. When they meet, Rosie is married to Marco. It does not take long, however, for Raju to figure out that there is no love lost between the two. Eventually, Rosie begins to dance, which affords Raju his favorite thing..... money. Rosie also moved in with Raju and his mother, up until the time Raju's mother made other arrangements. Raju's mother didn't think it appropriate that Rosie lived with them. Over the course of the story, Raju is romantically interested in Rosie.... unfortunately, he could never manage to put anything ahead of his greed, and Rosie eventually chose her independence.
