How does Atwood use time in the presentation of Offred’s point of view in Chapter 7?

What devices does Atwood use to represent time from Offred's point of view in the beginning of chapter 7.

Offred's point of view comes from the confusion caused by her "loss" of time. The important details she cannot remember have been taken away, time end events have been lost because the authorities deemed them unworthy or unwanted memories. Thus, Offred's story is incomplete.
