Question from "Life, Poem III by Emily Dickinson"

this is the poem-----------------

(1) The nearest dream recedes, unrealized.

The heaven we chase

Like the June bee

Before the school-boy

(5) Invites the race;

Stoops to an easy clover —

Dips — evades — teases — deploys;

Then to the royal clouds

Lifts his light pinnace

(10) Heedless of the boy

Staring, bewildered, at the mocking sky.

Homesick for steadfast honey,

Ah! the bee flies not

That brews that rare variety.

----------qiestions-------------

----qiestions 3------

Which is an important idea emphasized throughout the poem?
A-Bees just want to go home and make honey, so we should leave them alone.
B-Only fools follow their dreams.
C-The things we want most always feel just out of our reach.
D-Dreams are beautiful, but they can sting!
----qiestions 4------

Reread lines 1–5.

The nearest dream recedes, unrealized.

The heaven we chase

Like the June bee

Before the school-boy

Invites the race;

How are dreams represented in the poem?

A-Something that only arises in Spring.
B-Something we pursue but have no hope of catching.
C-Something that buzzes and is yellow and black.
D-Something that’s closely affected by our attitudes.

(thank you so much :)
