In Chapter Eight, Nollie is questioned about Annaliese's Jewish heritage by Gestapo agents. In turn, Annaliese is taken to a holding area in Amsterdam, while Nollie is taken to prison in Haarlem before being sent to federal prison in Amsterdam.
