What is Bilbo's reaction to Long Lake? To Lake-town and it's inhabitants? What do their-ends reveal about them and how do these relate to Bilbo and the dwarves?

Most of the questions I'm asking are to make sure I'm correct.

Bilbo loves the treatment he receives in Lake Town. They're all treated like kings........ and the treatment makes them eager to move on and finish what they come to do.
