Please describe the author's main point, (message) of The Hot Zone in your own words . . . not from the book; due Friday.
"The Hot Zone" began as an article in the New Yorker magazine and soon morphed into a novel. Preston became so curious about the virus, the way it spread, and its potential danger that he spent an inordinate amount of time researching and checking details. I believe Preston's message was a warning. Medicine has advanced to such a large degree, that we don't always look at the unknown because we're so busy looking for cures to what is known. In this novel, Preston unveils some of the mysteries of nature, as well as nature's unforgiving side. It makes us see how fragile life really is.
