The three initial sisters in the family tree were Marburg, Ebola Sudan and Ebola Zaire, who were later joined by a fourth sister, Reston. Zaire and Reston have so many similar traits that it's difficult to cite any differences. Sanchez called the two viruses "kissing cousins".
