Is Matteo Alacran an antihero?

In my opinion. Matt fits the definition of a hero. He has a rough childhood, he is isolated, and he is abused. A classic hero will also have something that sets him apart from everyone else, and in this case, Matt is a clone. Unlike traditional heroes, however, Matt doesn't fulfill his destiny...... he does not provide the "life" El Patron wanted for himself, but he does go onto to become a great leader.
