What type of economic system is portrayed in the movie? How does what you named and the portrayed economic system vary?

Much like the book, the movie has a dystopian view of society. The Capitol is a wealthy futuristic city that drains resources from twelve largely impoverished districts like District 12. Some districts are treated better than others but they all serve the Capitol and President Snow.
