When the crowd at Yang cun throws questions at Haoyou about their ancestors, who defends Haoyou and explains the thoughts of the spirits? What was his/her explanation?

Miao assists Mipeng in dealing with the questions of the people. His reason was simple, their business was simple, and although, Mipeng felt it wrong to trick them, Miao explained that they were in a business of tricks. He told them they'd made the people happy..... given them hope, and wasn't that what the circus was all about..... to make people happy.
