In the beginning of the book amir talks alot about wanting to make baba proud, what are the reasons he felt liike he was not makeing baba proud? what did amir do while living in kabul that made baba proud?

Amir's father felt that Amir was a bit of an embarrassment. Amir was weak compared to the other kids and not aggressive. Winning the kite contest made Baba proud.
