Why are the counselors having a hard time deciding who Percy’s Olympian parent is?Percy wasn't really good at anything of the things that they had at camp except for canoeing “The only thing I really excelled at was canoeing, and that wasn't the kind of heroic skill people expected to see from the kid who had beaten the Minotaur” (89). It also made it more difficult to figure out who his Olympian parent is and also because no one has claimed him yet as his son.
