One instance of satire occurs when Sidi goes to Baroka’s bedroom. She doesn't think twice about her actions because she believes him to be impotent..... she is wrong.

Another instance in which Soyinka uses satire is in the character of Sidi. Lakunle sees Sidi as an immoral woman...... Sidi, however, is proud of both herself and her actions. In this, Soyinka forces the audience to rethink our doubts about her character. Source(s)
