How is Frodo different after being wounded by the Black Riders?

A & C are definitely incorrect. I see no evidence in the text that he could hear things others could not..... although he could see the riders while he had the ring on..... clearly. Thus, I choose D..... not because I think he ever believed himself to fit in as one of the men, but because it's my last option.
