This is more of an opinion question, but if you were Bilbo would you have given Frodo the Ring?

I think that if I knew that Frodo had the strength to destroy the ring, which Bilbo did, I would give the ring over. There are few, if any other chracters, that can withstand carrying the ring without being consumed by it.
