What decisions do Frenchie make that leads to a happy ending?

I can't go through each decision Frenchie made he made so many. I did agree with his decision to protect RiRi by not telling her Story until Miig deems her ready, and then promising her that things will be okay after she does hear it. Frenchie was just trying to let RiRi hang onto her innocence for a little longer.
