For me, this quote speaks to hope and the future. In context, it refers to the things we could say that would leave people feeling hopeless, sharing certain experieces, particularly experiences that have left their mark, experiences that negatively impact the way we see the world. In sad situations, dwelling on the past has the power to shadow the future.... it has the power to stop us in our tracks, when all we need to do, is keep moving. Light looms ahead.
