what are some changes that gregor undergoes in chapter 3

Gregor's injury cripples him so that he finds it difficult to move around and can no longer climb walls. Gregor simply sits and listens to the family change outside his bedroom. Gregor was fine with self-sacrifice but now he senses a change in himself. His family neglects him and, when they fight, he is annoyed that they are causing noise rather than being interested in the actual event and the fact that his family is arguing about him.
