The Monkey’s Paw

The Monkey's Paw is about a talisman that is said to grant three wishes to those who are in possession of it. Over the course of the story, Mr. White takes the paw from a friend who attempts to burn it, even after being warned. The three wishes are granted, but as the Sargeant-Major told them.... they weren't granted in the way expected.
