Yes, I've already answered this question, but in response, I'll also add that it is true in my experience. The week my grandfather died, his only thoughts were of my Grandmother and what would happen to her when he was gone..... he worried about HER future. The day my father passed, he called me before he retired for the evening...... my father NEVER called me at night. I think he knew he was dying and called just to check on me one more time...... thus, I do believe Peyton's thoughts of his family were the thoughts of a man on the brink of death.
