what did ezra jennings leave to mr blake

Ezra Jennings left his journal to Mr. Blake when he passed away (in his will). The journal details not only the preparations for the experiment, but a look into the life and thoughts of an opium addict as well. Ezra became dependent upon opium to control the pain caused by his disease.
