Does everyone follow the rules?

Outside of a three hour head start, there really aren't any rules. The huntees have no choice in their decision. To be hunted or given to Ivan isn't really a choice..... the hunt at least provides the huntee with a chance. Once the hunt begins, it is a matter of surviving three days. Thus, this is the reason Rainsford returns to end the game by murdering Zaroff...... there are no rules. He understands that even if he alludes Zaroff for the stated three days, the man will not allow him to leave alive.
