Re-read Zaroff's arguments for hunting men. What is your opinion of his comments?

Zaroff is a pretty bizarre character. He is bored of hunting other animals deciding that man, having the power of reason, is more stimulating. I suppose if you remove a value system and human ethics from the equation, Zaroff has a point. Zaroff seems to get his kicks from hunting and nothing else. We must also understand that this is purely escape fiction and really we shouldn’t read too much into it.
