what happens in the middle of the story in " The most dangerous game?"

The middle of the story is centered around Zaroff's game. He explains the boredom he once felt when hunting, and described his new prey, as well as the reason his hunting had become so enjoyable. When Rainsford finally comprehends the animals Zaroff finds to be such enjoyable opponents are actually human beings, Zaroff laughs at him, and suggests that he take part in the hunt. Rainsford, appalled, declines his offer.
