Zaroff compares the war to hunting human being on his island .how are people changed by war .is war like hunting how does it differ

This is very much an ethics question. War is sanctioned violence accepted as a necessary evil by most people where as hunting people is considered murder. Is there a difference? This really depends on your point of view.
