Whats the story about?

The necklace is about a woman who always wants more than she already has. Madame Loisel is a dreamer. At the beginning of the story, her husband brings home an invitation to a party he believes she will enjoy. Her reaction is the opposite of what she expects. She doesn't have the right clothes, the right jewelry, and refuses to go on this premise. He husband gives her moeny for a dress and other accessories, but she doesn't find anything good enough. Thus, she borrows a very expensive necklace from a friend, and in turn loses it. The end of the story focuses on the suffering of the couple, as they work to pay back the loan they took out to replace the lost necklace. In the end..... she finds out that the necklace was simply made of glass.
