HELP - ODYSSEY (short ver.)

Ok so, I need an example of an extended metaphor in the short version of the odyssey - please help me - this is due tomorrow :)

It can be argued that in the whole of the Iliad there is only one extended metaphor, where Odysseus elaborates a metaphor for battle: “in which the bronze strews most straw on the ground, though the harvest is scantiest, whenever Zeus inclines his balance.”
