In book 7 of the odyssey explain the meaning of lines 35 and 36. What does it imply about the Phaeacians' acceptance of Odysseus

The quote is " now not a glance at anyone, not a question. The men here never suffer strangers gladly, have no love for hosting a man from foreign lands. "
This implies that they do not trust bold adventurers like Odysseus. Phaeacians might consider Odysseus self- serving and not in favor with the Gods.
All they really trust are their fast, flying ships that cross the mighty ocean. Gifts of Poseidon, ah what ships they are- quick as a bird, quick as a darting thought!”
