The Odyssey
In what ways is circe a danger to odysseus and his men? Is she more or less dangerous than the cyclops?

Circe is a danger because she and her underlings are distracting, and Odysseus needs to get home. Circe's presence and attention distract Odysseus from what he needs to accomplish and remove thoughts of his wife, who needs him.
I'd have to say that Circe is also more dangerous than the Cyclops. With the Cyclops, Odysseus knew what he was dealing with. It was a conflict of strength and wits. Circe, on the other hand, was an emotional distraction. She was beautiful and desirable, and she knew how to keep Odysseus' mind on her rather than his responsibilities.
