The Odyssey

Odysseus says that the rams may have entered the cave at "a god's bidding" (line 115) What does this mean, and what might it foreshadow about the role the rams will play in the conflict?

This is from The Odyssey: The Cyclopse

Odysseus thinks it is the intention of the Gods to have the rams enter. The ram becomes a symbol of determination and sacrifice throughout the story.
