Why does kirke suggest the odysseus sail closer to scylla than kharybdis
Circe reccommends that Odysseus sail closer to Scylla because he will only lose six men, as opposed to losing his entire ship. Scylla has six heads, and each head will grab a man as the ship passes by, whereas, Charybdis may swallow his entire crew if he doesn't time the passing perfectly.
