I assume you're talking about the song os the sirens? As Odysseus had already been warned about their song, he had prepared himslef by having his men tie him to the ship's mast. He wanted to hear them sing, but he knew what would happen. Circe's warming wasn't without merit because when Odysseus heard the song he fought to free himself from the mast and screamed at his men to let him go...... they didn't.
