The Old Man and the Sea
What is the tone of the Marlin’s death scene? How does Hemingway feel about the beast?

THe tone is one of reverence and awe. Santiago loves the Marlin, and is honoured to have killed it. Hemingway obviously feels a reverence for the majesty of nature.
