2.What does Dally do (in the first paragraph chapter2) that proves his bad character?

Dally steals two packs of Kools cigarettes. Pony, Johnny, and Dally then sneak into the Nightly Double drive-in. Pony wants to pay to get in but Dally insists it is much more fun to break the rules.
