What is Ponyboy's opinion of Dally throughout the novel?

Ponyboy looks up to Dally. He resepcts him, sees him as the perfect choice for the gang's leader, and admores his ability to show his wild side. Ponyboy sees dally as the epitome of courage.... he isn't afraid of anything.
