What was the reason for Cherry not going to the hospital to see Johnny? Was she justified in her reasoning? Why or why not?

Cherry is angry with Johnny for killing her boyfriend Bob Sheldon. It was, of course not Jonny's fault. Bob had beaten him up before and Johnny really felt that Bob was drowning Ponyboy in the fountain. Cherry feels the way she feels but she has not reconciled herself with the facts of that night.
