The Pact

Sam believes that perseverance requires three things; determination, dedication, and discipline. He was challenged in many ways, particularly in his bid to pass the state board exam. He learned to swallow his pride and ask for help, focus on overcoming obstacles, and to push forward no matter what happened. During this time, his brother was hurt, his mother was struggling financially, and his sister was diagnosed with aids.
