Why did Rameck invite Michael to visit him at college? How did the visit turn out?

Michael had dropped out of high school and Rameck was hoping exposure to college life would encourage him to return to school. The visit did not turn out well. The stepbrother's presence actually encouraged Rameck to revert back to his old style of behavior.
