At the beginning of the story Kino is an Insider but after he finds the Pearl he becomes an outsider how and why does this happen

After Kino finds the pearl he is different from everyone else, set apart because of his pending wealth. Unlike his neighbors, he now has prospects...... hope. Kino also separates himself because he becomes suspicious of everyone else's motives.
