How is Charlie getting on in advanced English?

Charlie is good at English, My advanced English teacher asked me to call him “Bill” when we're not in class, and he gave me another book to read. He says that I have great skill at reading.

One day Bill and Charlie get into a discussion about family issues and he tells him about the incident with his sister and her boyfriend. He told Charlies parents and the whole thing blew up, his sister was no longer permitted to see the boy and she tells Charlie how much she hates him and that everyone thinks he is a freak.
