In what way is nissim ezakils view of the saint differet from the popular belief

Nissim Ezekiel's view of saints was that they too were normal people who sinned like anybody else. He views a saint as one who stands apart from people: a "faithless friend" and "nothing spectacular". Check out his poem The Guru.
