The Death of the Hired Man by Robert Frost (Poem)

TC. 4.  In lines 139 - 145, Mary explains Silas's relationship with his rich brother.  What do you think she means by the last line?

Line 145......He won't be made ashamed to please his brother."

I think she means that Sila's was not a bad brother, just not good enough for him. Still Silas would have gone to any lengths to please his rich brother who was disappointed in him.
